IF I HAD A PENNY
IF I HAD A PENNY
If I had a penny for every time,
I wanted to slap you
I would be wealthier than
gold, land, and oil
Why must you be so annoying?
Can’t you see it is not
flattering?
Your words are so
condescending
Arrogant and immature
Your actions are selfish
Self-centered and egotistic
You spend your time
complaining
Down-talking, never uplifting
And your pessimistic ways make
me wonder
Why do you live?
Is your self-hatred strong
enough to tear hearts?
Do you even realize how awful
you are?
If I had a penny for every time,
I wanted to slap you
I’d have enough to bury you
Deep in a mountain of coins
To make you realize how
irritating you are
Do you even hear me now?
Or do you think this is for
someone else?
If I had a penny for every time,
I wanted to slap you
I could travel the world
Far enough to get away from
you
